This summer you don’t have to revisit the Land Before Time to dance with your favorite dinos because now Woogie Weekend has the best one on the docket. That’s right! Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (TEED) will be performing a DJ set at Woogie Weekend alongside other international superstars in house and techno. Following his cross-platform label launch Nice Age, the English legend will be back on the west coast for the first time since December (2015) following a solid slew of dj sets across top shelf clubs in Western Europe. With this addition of jurassic house to the lineup we’re thinking this year will be the perfect time to unleash your inner Daenerys of the dancefloor.
Also known as Orlando Tobias Edward Higginbottom, TEED is a DJ, Singer and electronic music producer hailing from London, who has been performing since the young age of thirteen. Lately he’s been churning out new music with a fierce work ethic and an unrelenting pace. Despite telling SPIN that he selected the onstage handle TEED because he believed it “couldn’t be cool”, his numerous albums catapulted his name into popularity about 10 hit singles over the last 5 years and contributing appearances on Banks’ Warm Water and Bedroom Wall in addition to Dillon Francis’ Without You. He also put out some exceptional remixes over the years, including recent works on F for You by Disclosure and My Number by the Foals. Through the years his over-the-top show complete with psychedelic costumes and a small army of dancers has become an especially celebrated addition to festival lineups at Glastonbury, Lollapalooza, Parklife, Secret Garden Party, Sonar and the Amsterdam Dance Event – just to name a few.
